"Nassau - Presumably"

This larger than life sculpture of Dr. David Livingstone, sits in the wonderful Versailles gardens at The One and Only Club on Paradise Island, Bahamas.

Dr Livingstone was a a Scottish pioneer missionary in the Victorian age and explorer in Africa. His meeting with H.M Stanley gave rise to still popular quote "Dr. Livingstone, I presume?" back on 10 November 1871.

I am a visual story teller based in southern Pennsylvania, USA and my imagery is inspired from everyday objects and situations I encounter through my travels. My work has been exhibited and sold at the Bradford Avenue Galleries (Allinson Gallery and Huston Gallery) at Chester County Art Association, in addition to this online store. My images have also been exhibited at Panorama XXL, Rouen, France and the Cincinnati Museum Center, Cincinnati, USA.
