Many years ago, in what seems like the dim and distance past, she drove the kids to school every day and to parties sometimes, she collected the shopping, went to ball games, picked up a a new puppy, dropped students to college, drove a bride to a wedding and hauled all sorts of junk.
Now she rests quietly in the summer field, with her vibrant past behind her.
