The Light Trail - Richard Reeve
They had told him not to follow the lights under any circumstances but they were just too entrancing. They remained slightly out of focus no matter how hard he tried to concentrate on them. Dancing slowly out of reach, he was drawn inexorably toward them. He thought they may even be singing quietly to him but he just couldn't be sure.
Drawn like a moth to a flame, he stepped from the protection of the path...
