They'd left him only for a few minutes. He said he was tired so he sat on the old dentist's chair to have a rest. They continued to search nearby but had spread out either side of the corridor so no-one could get him. Then there was the scream. They rushed back to find the chair empty and torn and piles of dust and plaster ripped from the walls. It had taken all of 10 seconds at the most and there was no sign of him whatsoever. Now they were only four of them left. Would they ever get out of this place and back to the sunlight?

Captivating, so much so that I just had to read your description on this place! Oh boy! Where can I buy the book? ; ) Being that I am a barber, I thought this to be a barber chair till I read your description. Either one, it's so creepy but I can't look away! L/F
Richard Reeve replied:
Thank you, Deborah. Yes, ESP is a sad and creepy place and it's easy to think up stories there. A book? Now, there's an idea...

Oh wait, Eastern State? : D
Richard Reeve replied:
Yes, I hadn't been to ESP for several years and then happened to be driving past last Wednesday, so popped in. Three hours later i left. I love the place. Many people get the famous red barber chair, but there's also this blue dentist chair if you look around. This is 3 images stitched together and light through the ceiling slot made this look spectacular.

I'm seriously torn between which I love most, the shot or the story. This really does beg a story! My first thought was that aliens beamed him up. it looks like a torture chamber though. Where was this taken? (Need to know which dentist to avoid...) Marvelous and fascinating shot Richard! l/f!
Richard Reeve replied:
Thank you, Meg. When I saw the shaft of light in that cell that same thought came to me - beam me up! I have more I will work on too.
