Shoreham Wind Power - Richard Reeve
Two wind turbines stand on the shore at Shoreham /Southwick. Humorously named Windy and Gusty by local schoolchildren they face out to sea with the intention of catching the breeze and generating electricity for the National Grid. More recently they also stare out to the horizon where around 100 much larger and grander turbines are being built offshore. Soon they will look like advance guards for an invasion of three-armed in a Cervantes/HG Wells hybrid story.... It's just as well they don't have three legs to match their arms....
