Seasons Greetings from a Young Santa - Richard Reeve

This is an old picture from when Santa Claus was a lot younger. It was an easier time then, with fewer people to deliver to and also the presents were so much smaller. People didn't expect so much. Over the years the sleigh had to be made larger and the stress of flying round the world in one night, to an ever increasing population really took its toll. Santa became stressed out and his beard and hair went white. Perhaps we should consider this when we are asked "what do you want for Christmas?"

I am a visual story teller based in southern Pennsylvania, USA and my imagery is inspired from everyday objects and situations I encounter through my travels. My work has been exhibited and sold at the Bradford Avenue Galleries (Allinson Gallery and Huston Gallery) at Chester County Art Association, in addition to this online store. My images have also been exhibited at Panorama XXL, Rouen, France and the Cincinnati Museum Center, Cincinnati, USA.
