Rolling Bone Magazine - Richard Reeve
Rolling Bone Magazine was an underground publication that championed the musical underdog for many years. Readership was strong throughout the 70's and 80's but tailed off after a scandal in the early 90's before finally being buried by the arrival of online content.
RB was unusual in that the issues were not dated, allowing for a sporadic output and also ensuring that copies always appeared to be current. This is a cover believed to be from late '75 to early '76 featuring Eddie "Howlin' Jack" Russell.

I am a visual story teller based in southern Pennsylvania, USA and my imagery is inspired from everyday objects and situations I encounter through my travels. My work has been exhibited and sold at the Bradford Avenue Galleries (Allinson Gallery and Huston Gallery) at Chester County Art Association, in addition to this online store. My images have also been exhibited at Panorama XXL, Rouen, France and the Cincinnati Museum Center, Cincinnati, USA. I hope you will find something that inspires you, amuses you, makes you think, smile, frown, or perhaps just scratch your head. Go on, dive in... and for those of you who do so, I offer a big thank you for looking through my window on the world! ~Richard ReevePhotos Inspiring...

Excellent, not often you see articles about Mr. Russell prior to the formation of "Eddie & the Hot Dogs" in the late '70s...nice one Richard!
Richard Reeve replied:
Yes, this is true, Guy. He has made several huge transitions in his career, and his playing just gets stronger and more eclectic. I still find it hard to think he played only once with Bow Wow Wow and never recorded with them.
Meg Shearer
LOL, I love it! L/F!
Richard Reeve replied:
Well he deserves it, I reckon... even though he was up a 2:25am this morning looking for deer...
