The Cathedral of Learning at Pittsburgh University, Pennsylvania stands 42 story high and was built between 1926 and 1934. It is the second-tallest gothic-style building in the world, after the Woolworth Building in New York City.
Tis astounding landmark contains a 2000 square meter 4-story high vaulted gothic study and event hall and is the tallest educational building in the Western Hemisphere.
