Orange Mycena II - Richard Reeve
This beautiful clump of orange mycena, or Lea's mycena is quite small but spectacular against the contrasting dark deciduous wood and the unassuming adjacent bracket fungus. The orange caps are sticky and the orange pigment that gives it color is mildly antibacterial and also cytotoxic towards tumor cells.
