Orange Mycena - Richard Reeve
This beautiful clump of orange mycena, or Lea's mycena is quite small but spectacular against the contrasting dark deciduous wood upon which it lives. The caps are sticky and the orange pigment that gives it color is mildly antibacterial and also cytoxic towards tumor cells.
