Sometimes art so transient that even the museum curators may not be aware of it.
This composition in the Philadelphia Museum of Art (PMA) reflects upon the old and new, using an aluminum stepladder as a counterpoise to a neo-classical architectural column, both being reflected in the mirrored door of 19th century wardrobe.

This is marvelous Richard! It's almost surreal with the clearly out of place ladder... or is it? Fantastic shot and perfect in b&w! l/f!

Thank you, Meg. It was another one of those occasions when the staff and patrons wondered what that weird guy in the hoodie with the camera is doing on his knees. I'm going to get a reputation, I think... I am pleased with the result though.
