Halfway Down the Stairs - Richard Reeve

This is not a place I would sit. At least not on a weekday as it's too busy, or rather it should be. The beautifully ornate stairway is situated in The Bourse, in Philadelphia. Originally completed in 1895 as the first commodities exchange in the United States, The Bourse was also one of the first steel-framed buildings to be constructed. These days it houses 24 retail and food stores and over 50 businesses.

I am a visual story teller based in southern Pennsylvania, USA and my imagery is inspired from everyday objects and situations I encounter through my travels. My work has been exhibited and sold at the Bradford Avenue Galleries (Allinson Gallery and Huston Gallery) at Chester County Art Association, in addition to this online store. My images have also been exhibited at Panorama XXL, Rouen, France and the Cincinnati Museum Center, Cincinnati, USA.
