Very evocative and powerful Richard! I love the textures and tones and your story! Beautifully done!

Richard Reeve replied:

Artist's Description

Gone - Richard Reeve He had been born in this house, grew up in it. After moving away to fight in the war he had returned a broken man and lived here with his parents until they passed on. Left alone with his demons he had found it difficult and had slowly let both home and himself fall into decay. He used to sit by the window as the light would shine across his lap in the afternoon. He didn't read, but the light comforted him, nonetheless. It stilled his thoughts. Then one day he came to his chair no more...

About Richard Reeve

Richard Reeve

I am a visual story teller based in southern Pennsylvania, USA. My eclectic work is inspired from everyday objects and situations and is sometimes exhibited and sold at the Bradford Avenue Galleries (Allinson Gallery and Huston Gallery) at Chester County Art Association, in addition to this online gallery. My images have also been exhibited at Panorama XXL, Rouen, France and the Cincinnati Museum Center, Cincinnati, USA. I have over 1,800 images available in a variety of sizes, mediums and products. I am sure you will find something that inspires you, amuses you, makes you think, smile, frown, or perhaps just scratch your head. Go on, dive in... and for those of you who do so, I offer a big thank you for looking through my window on...
